The best known and most coveted of all. It inhabits the Sierra de Gredos, where King Alfonso XIII established the first royal high-mountain hunting reserve in the 19th century. The area, of more than 60,000 hectares, extends between Madrid and Portugal. Gredos ibex are famous for their enormous semicircular horns, a true jewel for the discerning hunter.
The most coveted of all Spanish ibex, essential in any collection. It stands out for its black winter coat during the rut.
The Sierra de Gredos, west of Madrid, boasts peaks such as Almanzor (2,590 m). This estate not only has a high density of animals but also an impressive landscape that fascinated King Alfonso XIII, who created a royal hunting reserve here.
We manage three private estates and hold licenses in the National Reserve.
